A Note from April Adams
Having worked in the television industry most of my adult life, I am amazed at the longevity and variety my career has afforded me. It’s taken some twists and turns along the way, but what a ride it has been. I love life, I love storytelling, and I love to entertain (just ask anyone who’s been to my house for dinner!). Throughout all the different aspects of my career, those fundamental truths have remained.

Whether I’m in front of the camera hosting a show about the latest decorating trends or I’m at my desk writing a piece on prime real estate for the web, I am always concerned about the story the viewer (or reader) is getting. People have to walk away feeling they “got it”. That’s why being a good communicator is so critical in today’s world. It is, what I feel, is my truest gift. My goal going forward is to continue to hone my craft, learn new technology, and continue to be a storyteller at heart.

The tag line for my company reads “Creating Excitement with Energy, and Energy with Excitement”. If you don’t have energy or excitement, how in the world are you going to get others to respond? I bring a lot of both to the table and know it is what sets me apart from others.

Nothing stays the same for long. I welcome new adventures and challenges. After all, the journey is part of the fun! I’ve had some wonderful career highs along the way; I am excited to share some of them with you here.
