RX Nutrition shoot

I had a great time shooting the first round of videos for Team Kattouf, Inc. last week. Here’s a quick look at some cool “behind-the-scenes” shot by Rick Kattouf’s wife, Gail. They are super clients and Rick is a natural on-camera! Makes my job so much easier. Now we head into the edit phase. The videos will be released at end of January 2010. If you are looking for some answers about diet and nutrition- these videos will turn your conventional thinking on its head and lead you down a new path to get you where you want to be!!

Stay tuned ….

Time to catch up…. seriously!

Folks- it has been a while since my last blog post. I’m re-engaging in the social media world; committing to learn more about the world of RSS feeds, tweets, status updates, ping.fm, wordpress, websites, and anything else I can dig up.

So while I do have some catching up to do, I am happy to report I’ve been busy with other things…. you know, like WORK! :)

I’ve got a great new client: TeamKattouf, Inc. Dr. Rick Kattouf has hired me to oversee production on a series of fitness and nutrition DVD’s launching in 2010. In fact, we start shooting right after Thanksgiving. It’s going to be a great project to head-up and I’m THRILLED to be working with my favorite editor, Greg Grzeszczak! (No, I didn’t misspell his name… but we just call him “GG”!!!). I’ll post some video clips of our shoots once they are underway. In the meantime, check out www.teamkattouf.com to learn more about all the ways Rick Kattouf can help you! Whether you’re a serious athlete or a couch potato looking for some inspiration, he’s a bottomless pit of health and wellness information. He’s also just a really super cool guy!

So many things to be grateful for this holiday. Health, Family, Friends, Opportunity, Faith, and Love….

Happy Thanksgiving to all-

Gobble, Gobble!

Summer Loving… Having a Blast!

WOW! I cannot remember the last time I had this much fun in the summertime. Maybe it’s because the last few summers I’ve either been pregnant or caring for an infant that has left me a little less-than-enthused about putting on my short-shorts and heading for the beach or lake. I mean, let me be real– loading up and hauling two kids to the grocery store is a lot a work, imagine what packing up for a day on the lake means?

But this summer, I dove right in. From swimming regularly at the local YMCA to taking a weeks vacation at the lake, we have all enjoyed a summer filled with lots of sun.  I profess to be a “girl of summer”- the summer months have always been my favorite. But somehow I’d forgotten just how much fun being outside and soaking up the sun’s goodness can be, and how it truly feeds my soul. I also asked my babysitter to mark me down for every Thursday night so that my husband and I could sneak away and enjoy a little nightlife. It’s amazing what a nice dinner and a stroll downtown at night will do for you!

In July, I took a self-imposed exile from work. I held projects at bay and postponed any new business so that I could literally take the month to recharge my batteries. Now August is here and I am ready to go! I feel refreshed, my creativity is flowing again and I am optimistic about the future. Now, I am actually looking forward to the cooler fall weather and planning trips for the holidays to see friends and family. Families are sending their kids off to school again, and some (the very organized few) are even beginning to do some Christmas shopping! And so, a new season arrives…

I hope you all have had a productive, creative, fun-filled summer. Now, let’s crack open the Fall/Winter season with Enthusiasm and Energy!
Cheers!

I’m still here…

Has it really been over a month since my last blog entry? How is that possible? I have so much to tell you, but my time is in very low supply!

So far the summer has been filled with lots of travel (trip to Jamaica was a highlight), family visits (with more on the way), and lots of swimming with the kids! But then again- it’s summer! A time to take a step back and enjoy the sun, cherish the longer days, and spend as much time possible outdoors like a kid at play.

I promise to resume my regular blogging- soon. Give me a few more weeks to soak up the rays and run carefree.

Until then, cheers and be safe!
